A2 die steel belongs to high toughness wear-resistant cold working tool steel, which is a hard section steel. The carbon content of the steel is about 1%, the hardness after heat treatment can reach 57~62HRC, the chromium content is about 5%, the surface luster of the polished steel is dark, the corrosion resistance is excellent, the ductility is strong, the mold edge is good damage resistance, the hardenability is good, the carbide distribution is uniform, has good wear resistance and air quenching performance. After air quenching, the size deformation is small, the carbide is uniform and fine, so the wear resistance is very good.
