2017 aluminum plate is a 2-series alloy that has been applied in industry, with high strength and good cutting performance, but poor corrosion resistance. The characteristic of the 2 series aluminum plate is its high hardness, with a copper content of approximately 3-5. [1] The 2 series aluminum plates belong to aluminum materials and are not commonly used in conventional industries at present. Currently, there are relatively few manufacturers in China producing 2-series aluminum plates. The quality cannot be compared with foreign countries yet. At present, the imported aluminum plates are mainly provided by production enterprises in the United States, South Korea, and Germany. With the development of our country’s industry, the production technology of 2 series aluminum plates will be further improved.
