POM polyoxymethylene is commonly used in gear plastic products and other critical connecting vulnerable parts due to its high density and hardness. It mainly depends on what products you have on your end. If it is as mentioned above, using H13/718H/S136 as the steel material for POM injection mold cavity is acceptable, but it mainly depends on the cost of making SINO molds in the early stage.

POM contains acidic substances and is corrosive to steel. Generally, mirror mold steels such as 2083, S136，2316，SUS420， are used.
